We delivered an interactive workshop on food activism throughout the Mediterranean region, “Cooking Beyond Borders, CBB”. In Rome, via the CEREALIA – La Festa dei Cereali festival.

We shared food stories about feminism, migration, and workers’s rights in the Mediterranean region in Palestine, Jordan, Slovenia and Italy.

Three recipes carrying stories of resistance for gender equality, freedom of movement and workers’ rights!

We facilitated and exchanged in-depth discussions on responsible consumption through Mediterranean cuisine!

This interactive workshop was designed and delivered based on deliberative peer-to-peer learning tools by Samar Zughool, Patricija Horvat, and Robert Križanič.

We look forward to continuing with our series of food activism across the Mediterranean region.
