Highlights from our “Tales, Dolls & Tours” exhibition in Ptuj
Inna Shvec brought words to life through poetry, reciting her piece in both Ukrainian and Slovenian, bridging languages and emotions. Her poem, “Мотанка Ніна – оберіг душі” (“Nina the Doll – A Talisman of the Soul”), carries a message of protection, strength, and hope.
She tells the story of Nina, a doll infused with magical energy, offering comfort, luck, and resilience to those who embrace its presence. The poem reminds us of the deep cultural meanings woven into everyday objects.
Inna’s performance was a heartfelt connection between past and present, tradition and personal expression, inviting us to find power in storytelling.
This event is a part of Inclusion in Actions program, which is a part of THE:PLACE program. It is jointly managed by ALDA – European Association for Local Democracy and Mekanda Adalet Derneği.
