We continue our creative migrant-led journey navigating intercultural and cross-cultural stories in Slovenia and the world.
"Tales, Dolls, and Tours"
Among many inspiring stories, Svitlana Kuz took us on the path of women's travels from Sofia Yablonska coming from Ukraine to Alma Karlin coming from Slovenia and more.
What is interculturalism? What could an intercultural city feel like?
- It could be the vision spotted in the details.
- It could be a feminist radical revolution that cannot handle any delays.
- It could be accepting and letting go of the material losses in the past while embodying the spiritual gains that could never be lost.
- It could be a moment of love and connection without any borders.
- It could be the joy of exploring and mediating across differences.
Last week, we enjoyed storytelling and touring in Ptuj.
Today we continue with our storytelling and art craft workshops.
For the coming weeks, we are getting ready for our migrant-created exhibition about the various meanings of interculturalism.
The exhibition will take place next month in Ptuj.
We will announce the exact date and location on our Facebook page. Stay tuned.
